A composed ball-playing defender

Juan Sebastian Palma represented Colombia at the U20 World Cup in 2019 and won the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2018 with the U21 national team. He played 5 seasons with important Colombian top flight club Once Caldas before completing a move to the USL Championship where he is a dominant, left-sided central defender for Charleston Battery.

2019 U20 World Cup

Palma was the starting central defender for Colombia at the U20 World Cup. Colombia were ultimately eliminated in the quarterfinal against Ukraine with Palma playing the full 90 minutes.
